Speaking of Marc (sic) Curtis, how do Allardyce's recent comments about Carroll fit into the agent's master plan?

"Twilight career" ???

We have him for 4 more years on £100k a week plus percebtage to Marc Curis and then associated friends and business associates of the blubbery type

Croatia had a load of big powerful skillful strikers. Bilic will turn Carroll around and he'll have a twilight career resurgence.

Probably
Obviously Allardyce bought Carroll as his jewel in the crown and Bilic is looking at someone he has managed for a few minutes of competitive football so isn't as invested in him.
Hopefully we see a new indestructible dangerous Carroll but he is starting from square one.

I think that reflects he has more tools around him, Carroll I mean. No being the only option is a good thing both in terms of motivation and hopefully in giving his best chance at an actual recovery. I don't know if Andy Carroll will ever get to highest level he has played at, consistently, but I think Bilic is giving him every opportunity. If that does not work out, I will be a blow.

In other words, if that is your evidence, I think you might be filling in a few gaps to attribute those intentions to the manager. But maybe I am too.

Maybe it's just Bilic's style but he appeared positive about the opportunity Carroll has to do well for us but it wasn't like Allardyce going on the Sky Sunday morning show and saying Carroll and Nolan were going to be our front two for the foreseeable future.
Given Carroll's record the ball is in his court to prove his worth rather than us being grateful the King is back.

"Is it going to have a massive impact on Carroll's fitness? No"

Haha. I'll leave that one there.

Bilic saying that about Carroll's social life affecting recovery could also be a parting shot at that fucking cunt Nolan, who by conscience Bilic effectively sacked.

BFS is probably just chiming in on Nolan's behalf with a little dig of his own.

Yep. Smart man is bilic and I thought he chose his words very carefully and very well, calling the fat cunt a fat cunt without actually calling him a fat cunt

Drinking seems still to be part of the culture for British footballers

In an ideal world of course players wouldn't drink but many of them do including plenty of the West Ham side.

Is it going to have a massive impact on Carroll's fitness? No

I'm hopeful we've handled and the player's handled is injury and recover better and we get a fit Andy Carroll for a decent run of games and he reaches the form he has done in the past.

The other vibe I got from Bilic is that he is giving Carroll a chance but isn't sucking him off just yet. Give him a chance (and enough rope to hang himself ) and see how things turn out.
The jury is out and he will see how things lie at the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on if Bilic is unconvinced. I don't see him as someone who will let this fester.

I don't know what the club rules are.

Do you think lager effects the body of an athlete? Do you think Bilic wanted him to drink lager? Could and should he be taking better care of his body?

"Where am I calling Bilic a liar?"

"He has worked through six-eight weeks of struggle that was boring and not ideal and was not fun.

"He did it as a great professional and now we are expecting big benefits out of that."

So you think that Andy Carroll has been a great professional? (said after the awful, awful Dubai trip.) He would know better than you so if not you are saying he is lying.

Answer a direct question for once.

Do you think Andy Carroll has been a "great professional", even over the last few months?

Has he broken any club rules?
